I had a very pleasant day yesterday, driving down to Sherburne Pass
in Killington. Placed a box along the Long Trail, and then watched
the Women's World Cup soccer finals in my favorite pub.
The Maine Junction Letterbox is the third one placed on Vermont's
Long Trail, the first two having been placed at Appalachian Gap last
year by Erik and Susan Davis.
The clues may be seen at

The Inn at Long Trail is a real treat, and McGrath's Irish Pub the
best I've ever been in. They have Long Trail Ale and Guinness Stout
on tap, and this always poses a dilemma when I'm there for a brief
visit. Fortunately, I was there yesterday for the long haul. What a
game!
